Training for EPSO Competitions

Preparation for European Selections and Competitions

The European College organises courses designed to prepare for selection tests for the European competitions, organised by the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO).

The specific tests for European competitions for permanent officials are indicated in the specific notice, which will include also the language in which the tests will be held.

For the competitions at the basic level, such as, AD5 Generalists, all the tests are conducted online and are divided into several phases:

• Reasoning, Verbal, Mathematical and Abstract tests, without ranking
• EU knowledge test, with multiple choice questions, with ranking.
• Case study, analysis of a dossier with written drafting. The dossier to be analysed will be provided by the Commission a few days before the test.

The European College provides preparatory courses for all these tests, tailored to the competitions published by EPSO for various types of selection.
